Language of Dreams explores the lasting impact of Dreams on everyone they touch.
It features many voices, including those of Dream Foundation Ambassadors Priscilla Presley and actor Rob Lowe and Broadway star Teal Wicks, along with heartfelt personal accounts from the families of Dream recipients and people who help make Dreams come true. This is a film about fulfilling the final Dreams of terminally-ill adults, but it’s also a celebration of life itself, what it means to be human and the redeeming power of supporting each other through difficult times.
The screening also features further special messages from Priscilla Presley and Rob Lowe and Dream Foundation Honorary Medical Chair, Dr. BJ Miller.
When you make a gift, you’re helping make Dreams come true for people like Loretta. Loretta, or ‘Lori’, served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years, rising to the rank of Commander and Intelligence Officer. Along with caring for her own daughter, Lori adopted her niece following the death of her sister and brother-in-law, and then went on to adopt five more children with special needs from Ethiopia and China.
Lori dreamed of a bed big enough to allow her daughters to snuggle up with her, saying, “As I get sicker, I’ll be spending more time in bed. My daughters sometimes like to come and “cuddle-up” with me at night which I love and want to continue.”
Please make a gift today and help make Dreams like Lori’s come true. Although an entire Dream costs an average of $2,300, every gift becomes part of the magic of a Dream coming true.
